Our services in this area are principally associated with the transportation of production parts moving from 1st Tier part suppliers to automobile assembly plants on scheduled routes. Typically the supply chains are set up under a “lean” inventory strategy that creates a demand for being able to operate under very precise time schedules. In most cases we are required to operate within 15 minutes of schedule completing multiple pickups and deliveries over hundreds of miles.
Our experience with the production parts has led us to serve customers in the industrial equipment manufacturing industry, and we also apply our discipline to the automotive service parts supply chains.
As a natural progression, we have moved backwards in the supply chain to provide logistics services that precede transportation. Today we offer services that begin with the parts order management. Many of our customers determine their material requirements for production and turn it over to us to work with the suppliers and carriers to get the right part, at the right place, at the right time.
Our services have also expanded to offer non-scheduled expedited service, complete routing design and analysis, and other specialized transportation management throughout the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
